Training Recap - Week 11

The weather has been beautiful.  Spring is my favorite season and I am so excited that I can finally start training outside.  I hit some milestones this past week. It was a great week for me.

1. I set a goal to lose 10 pounds in March and I did it.  This is a lot for most people in a month and for me it is huge.  I don't lose weight because of my PCOS so to lose 10 pounds in a month was amazing.  I have a lot more to go but at least I am starting to lose weight.

2. I have walked a total of 250 miles since I first started using Fitbit a year ago.  200 of those miles were completed since February 8th of this year.

3. I cut my walking pace time down by a minute and a half.

4. I logged 10,000+ steps every day this week.

Training Recap - Week 10

I basically started my training over this past week.  I decided to work on form and my breathing.  I have a hard time controlling my breathing when I run. I shortened my walk/run ratio and cut back my mileage so I could focus on my breathing and posture.  It really helped.  Next week I am going to increase my mileage back to where I should be and see how I do.

Training Recap - Week 9

So much for being better about my training this week. I am so frustrated with my gym and the weather.  The treadmills are always taken when I go to the gym.  The only time they are free is after 7:30 PM and I don't like working out that late because it affects my sleep.  I don't like running in the rain or cold.  So needless to say I didn't do well this week.  I got out two days and completed my training.  Again no excuses.  I am going to do better next week even if it means I have to get up early and go to the gym.  I am not a morning person at all so this will be quite the sacrifice but it's worth it to me if a treadmill is available and I can get my training done.
