I started training on the track over by my church building this week. The track is fairly flat and I found it is helping me to focus on my pacing, breathing and form. I should have done all of my weeks of walking and running on this track. If I had I know I would be way ahead by now. According to my GPS watch if you walk around the track 5 times it equals a mile. On Tuesday I was enjoying my music so much that I ended up walking an extra mile. I almost have my pace where I want it to be but I would like to add more running. However, I have come pretty far in just the past few weeks and I am feeling better about my training. Unfortunately, my anemia kicked in over the weekend and I was pretty dizzy and tired so I wasn't able to get out on Saturday to do my long run. I was pretty sad about it which is so not like me. I actually missed my walk/run and found that I am starting to enjoy it. Oh and I finally found my Fitbit charger so I was able to start using it again.
